JOHN STRICKLAND PASSES

REQUIESCAT IN PACE

John Strickland, a/k/a "Big Strick", recently passed away. Unfortunately, I don't have many details except to say that he passed peacefully in his sleep.

Big Strick was a mainstay on the New York City summer circuit for years...a true beast in the paint. Also, he was one of the funniest players on any given court.

I offer my condolences to his family and requiescat in pace Big Strick.
