The NBA, Sprite & Lebron James are Looking for the Best Dunkers in New York City

NBA, Sprite and Lebron James are hosting a Slam Dunk Showdown in New York City on June 19 at the South Street Seaport. The Showdown is all about finding the best amateur dunkers in the area and taking them to compete against other non-pro, non-collegiate dunkers across the country.

Fans can compete in the Showdown by submitting videos online of themselves dunking and/or vote for their favorite dunkers on NBA.com/dunk. A cool twist is fan votes will help select the winners at each event as well as the top user submitted dunk videos online. Top dunkers will win cash prizes and have a chance to compete at NBA All-Star weekend in 2011.
